Techtron Machined Parts
Known by the brand name Techtron®, polyphenylene sulfide is a strong and rigid thermoplastic that performs exceptionally well in high-heat and highly corrosive environments. Inert to fuels, acids, strong bases and steam, Techtron® is a versatile material that resists radiation, won’t absorb moisture and possesses outstanding electrical properties. Similar to PEEK™ but with lower-temperature properties, Techtron® holds its strength and rigidity in continuous use to 425°F (218°C).
