A rugged thermoplastic, PEEK™ maintains water and chemical resistance at high temperatures and holds its physical properties even in steam and hot water environments for extended periods of time. PEEK™ can be reinforced with glass or carbon fiber, resists abrasion and radiation, and is FDA- and USDA-approved. Emits minimal amounts of smoke and gas when exposed to fire.
